The end of a short-track speed skating race(短道速滑)can sometimes be a bit confusing–even for the experts.

That was the case in the women’s3,000-metre relay(接力赛) in Pyeongchang where Canada"s athletes and coaches were left scratching their heads at the outcome.

"We don"t know what happened. I don"t know why we were disqualified(取消成绩)," shrugged Canadian skater Kim Boutin.

Well, I got you. If I want to say“一脸懵逼,一头雾水,百思不得其解,不知所云,一脸茫然”in English, I can say:

1. What you said is really confusing for me. OR:

2. What you said really confuses me.OR:

3. I am left scratching my head at what you said(at your words).OR:

4. I shrugged at what you said(your words)

Be left scratching your head (at something)(挠头)

1. When you are (left) scratching your head, you mean you are puzzled, you are doubtful, or you are uncertain, or you are having trouble in understanding something.

这里的you are puzzled, you are doubtful, or you are uncertain, or you are having trouble in understanding something全是“一脸懵逼,一头雾水,百思不得其解,不知所云,一脸茫然”的意思,你说哪个都可以。

I don"t understand what you are talking about.
